Jacob and Scott go to Europe. Monday, January 28, 2013. Seems like a blanket statement but really a lot has happened in three weeks. On our last full day abroad we capped off our sightseeing with trips to both the Frankfurt Film Museum and the Frankfurt Zoo. We went to the film museum first, which I can honestly say was my favorite museum of the whole trip.
Wrapped Up Like a Kebab. Whenever I was prompted to explain why I decided to go on this trip, I usually remarked tongue-in-cheek that my sister had just returned to Venice, and I wanted to get back at her for being so pretentious. We then took a tour throughout the station, visiting a radio broadcasting studio, a television control room, and even the intricate cable box room that was responsible for all the television lines. We were able to meet several people that worked in each of these areas who then explained to us their job. Less people spoke English here than at previous stops, which is understandable.
Follow the two of us and see the transformation of media from Gutenberg to the Web. The plane ride is bittersweet. I would like to give a personal thank you to Dr. Hatcher and Professor Makemson for making this trip truly memorable. A Tour of Frankfurt, Approaching the End of our Trip.
